There’s a saying “home is where the heart is” but lately it seems that our home is where a lot of hearts are! Each weekend (for many weeks) busy, hardworking individuals with jobs, families and a long list of responsibilities have been giving up their Saturdays to work in the house where we will be living.
For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything. (Hebrews 3:4)
We are so grateful for each and every person who has offered time and resources to make this possible. The house was in poor condition – a leaking roof, a termite destroyed floor and in need of some TLC. Members from congregations across the island have come together to get the house ready for us. Thank you!
Not only do we look forward to getting settled, but we eagerly anticipate filling our house with love, fellowship, and service to our God who makes all things possible.
…as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15)
